Bouncing AwaY

Carter enjoyed spending some time on the moon bounce for Mason's birthday. We took cover in the bounce during a mid-afternoon rain shower and between the rain and rocking - it wasn't long before Carter was sound asleep in Mommy's arms.

The Freeman 4

Here's Mama and all her boys! Four Freeman's under one roof - what a woman she is to put up with us all! Carter just wants to follow his big brother Mason around and mug on him and play with all his toys. And Mason just wants to follow Daddy and Wesley around and do everything they do.

My Buddy Sam!

Here's my buddy Sam. His mommy is my "Aunt Jenni" (mommy's dear friend). Sam's just 6 months behind Carter and already sporting some of Carter's (well, and Mason's) styling outfits! We enjoyed a nice, long lunch at Ranchito while the mommies caught up on things. Carter was just in awe of Sam - must be nice to have someone smaller than you to beat up on for a change? Hopefully he didn't attack Sam too much. Just loving!

Future Valedictorian???

So maybe not a valedictorian, we'll settle for salutatorian like Daddy! We went to see Hudson's preschool graduation and Hudson thought that Carter needed to wear the cool hat, too. Carter wasn't too sure what to think about things, but he's been pretty busy lately learning how to pull up on things. He's done real well and has already figured out how to sit back down so we missed that stage where they cry because they don't know how to sit down. Yeah Carter!

Silly Smile

Here's Carter's latest smile - kinda a little smirk or a snare? Notice all the drool? He's got two bottom teeth, and seems like another will be coming in soon, somewhere!

Maybe DaaDaa

Summer Loving!

We are halfway through the first day at home with mommy for the summer! Wow! Both boys woke up a little after 5, and I'm not sure either one's slowed down long enough for anything but their naps today! Carter just realized that he can pull up and stand so he's been practicing that a lot lately. He loves to follow his big brother around, and play with his toys. Big brother isn't always too excited about that. We have an appointment with a pediatric ENT on the 16th, so we're patiently waiting to find out when Carter'll get tubes in his ears.
