Big Boy Bed

Carter wants so much to be like his big brother, so since Mom had some time off (thanks to the Swine Flu), she picked up a twin bed from Momo's and now Carter can sleep in a big boy bed just like his brother. Carter was very excited at first, even so much so that he did a turn-and-spin jump dance thing. It still is taking us a while to get him to go to sleep but he sleeps in his bed for most of the night, until he gets up and walks into our room (after he first tries to go to his brother's room!).

Fun with Cousins

Carter and Hannah were giving each other kisses (well, sorta!) - they are just a few months apart. And then we have the birthday cousins: Kristen, Sonja, and Debie --- May's a busy month for this family (we also wish Kari a happy birthday, we miss you!).

Driving Already?!!

At first, C thought it was great that he could "drive" my car when we were finished dropping Daddy off at the airport (he got to stay home with Mommy today because he had a little cough, and I was being cautious!) --- but then, he thought that he could drive Elliott's tractor, too! He wants so much to be a big boy, and I'm afraid the time for a big boy bed is near!

I Miss You, Daddy!

Carter started off the weekend wanting to wear Daddy's hat all the time, although he wanted to wear it is own way - sideways! He didn't like it when I told him "no" so he went and hide under the couch. But, that night when it was our 'down time' and we were watching our quiet movie, he was such a good boy sitting in his chair - he sat like this for the entire movie!!! He's been having trouble getting to sleep lately, and so I moved his mattress into our room so that it would be easier on me while Daddy's away, and he's done pretty good with it!
(again, I apologize for pictures in reverse order of text)
