We went down to Glaveston for the weekend to see Sissy and Haylie. We spent some time at Moody Gardens, ate at the Rainforest Cafe (although Carter is NOT a fan of the loud, moving animals!), strolled the Strand, and spent a morning at the beach. Sissy and Haylie are our little beach bums, but Carter isn't a big fan of the water - just sitting and playing the sand getting dirty. Guess boys will be boys?!! The best picture of the weekend is one we didn't even take, but while we were walking down The Strand, Mason, Haylie and Carter were walking hand-in-hand-in-hand down the sidewalks and it was so sweet. They really didn't mind if anyone was wanting to walk down the sidewalk, but it was still cute!
Carter just LOVES babies and so when Mommy got to spend the day babysitting her god-twins, he really didn't mind. The boys were at school during most of the day, but Carter got to spend a little quality time giving lots of love and kisses to Gracyn!
Isn't he just the cutest thing ever? He's gotten so big, almost as big as his big brother! Carter is talking so much these days, and most of the time, we actually understand what he is saying. Sometimes he'll just mimick Mason, and sometimes he'll really be passionate about what he's talking about! He loves his baths, but isn't the biggest fan of the pool just yet - unless you're carrying him around the water. We'll wait a while for swim lessons for him!
